Meet Tom
Tom has been leading tours through the Redwoods for over 25 years. He is a Naturalist and member of Sierra Historical Society, Alpine Club, Friends of the Forest, former Chairman of the Sierra Club Steering committee and former employee of the Golden Gate Conservancy. Tom is an avid writer and lecturer about all things Redwood, contributing to several publications. He writes a monthly coloumn for the Greenfuse Newspaper. Having hiked in over 35 countries distributing Redwood seeds, his knowledge of Redwoods is second to none. His goal is to introduce visitors to the wonders of the Redwood forest by taking the fewest amount of people for the longest amount of time, walking on single track dirt trails. You will be surrounded by towering redwoods, away from noise and masses of tourists.

About the Tour
TOURS
Muir Woods tour consists of an actual walk through the old growth forest mostly on single track dirt trails for three to five miles. You will be in the woods for two to three hours depending on the pace you choose.
Pick-up is from your hotel at 7a.m. and drop off is at Sausalito ferry around noon to take the boat back to San Francisco at your leisure.
Lunch, including pastry and chips and water will be provided.
Cost is $150 per person all inclusive. a minimum of two people is required for a tour, payable in cash or check upon completion of the tour, if you are satisfied…..
Avenue of the Giants consists of four smaller hikes along dirt trails. Pick-up is at 7a.m. from your hotel, return if you choose a one day trip is around 8 that evening. You can also do this in two days and book a hotel for a night and come back the following day. Cost per round trip is $150 dollars per person with a minimum of four people.
